During the products initial development phase (when it was still known as Treo Extender) there were already preview versions available to the public. These were published through an e-mail distribution list and to the German Nexave Palm Community forum. When Xtndr reached its official 1.0 release, new threads were started in international at Palm and Treo community forums.
