Published: 2008-08-25
This article contains the release notes for version 1.1 of Watchmac which was released on 08/25/2008.
- NEW You can now enable an option to send an alert mail when an infringement occurs.
- NEW You can now copy or drag a camera snapshot from the infringement details to other applications.
- CHANGED Any preferences affecting Watchmac’s monitoring behaviour are now locked after an infringement has occured. Therefore the (Un)lock History command is now called (Un)lock Watchmac.
- CHANGED Watchmac will now record authentication failures at the login window (as long as Fast User Switching is enabled in the System Preferences Accounts panel and you aren’t logged out completely).
- FIXED If you hadn’t changed the alert sound, it wouldn’t play on non-English systems (or on those where the «Purr» sound has a different name).
- FIXED Watchmac will attempt to keep your login items list (Account preference pane in the System Preferences application) clear of duplicate entries for Watchmac. I. e. if you had Watchmac turned on, then moved the application, it could create a duplicate entry. Other login items (that are not the Watchmac application) are not affected by this change.
